1.Two kinds of data

Merchant data is information about the businesses that use Subkart and their staff. We decide how it is used, and this policy describes that.

Shopper data is information your customers give your store, such as names, addresses and orders. For that data you are the data controller (data fiduciary under India’s DPDP Act) and we process it on your behalf, only to run your store.

2.What we collect from merchants

Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).

Business details: store name, address, country, currency and time zone.

Billing details: invoices, the cryptocurrency and network used, transaction hashes and amounts. We never see or store your wallet’s private keys.

Usage data: sign-in times, IP addresses and device information, used to keep accounts secure and the service reliable.

3.How we use it

To create and secure your account, run your store, send service emails (such as verification, invoices and security alerts), prevent abuse and fraud, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

4.Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to host the service, store data, send email and process crypto payments. They may only use data to provide their service to us. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

5.Where data is stored and for how long

Data is stored with our hosting and database providers, primarily in India. We keep merchant data for as long as your account is open and for a limited period afterwards where the law requires it (for example, tax records).

6.Your rights

You can access and correct your account details from your dashboard at any time. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, or to delete it, subject to the records we must keep by law. Shoppers should contact the store they bought from; we will help that merchant respond.

7.Cookies

The Subkart dashboard uses essential cookies to keep you signed in. This marketing site does not use advertising cookies.

8.Changes

We will post any changes to this policy here and, if they are significant, email account owners before they take effect.
